UPS Surepost - Damage Package - UPS and USPS is not opening Claim
Hi Mod,
We purchased label using Amazon Buy Shipping Service for two orders. Package got damaged during transit or delivery. We have been trying to open damage package claim and stuck between round robin of UPS and USPS. Following are cases which has order has tracking number.
Case 15589140771 , 15589122251
Following are response from UPS and USPS
UPS : Package was delivered to local post. Seller/Shipper need to reach out to USPS to file a damagae package claim.
USPS : UPS Sureport use USPS Parcel Select Service. USPS Parcel select is not insured service and can not open a claim.
Does it mean UPS Surepost is not insured? How can we open damage package claim for two orders/tracking number provided in cases?

parcel select is USPS's "special" extra cheap service and not insured. You'd have to be able to proof that USPS received it damaged from UPS.
