Read onlyI have 3 units of a particular product in FBA
2 units - 1 month old
1 unit - 9 month old
If I were to create a removal order for one unit, should I assume that Amazon's system will select the oldest unit for removal?
kindly advise
Nope, not at all. That would be a bad thing to assume.
They will pick the one in the warehouse that is closest to your removal address since a removal order is flat rate.

there's option to setup automatic removal order for aging inventory. s
we can setup automatic removal when it hits a specific month (let's say set it to 10th month).
I guess that would be our best bet?
@Seller_mEV6T4fCqXvwM As described on the Remove inventory automatically help page, you can choose to have aging and slow-moving inventory removed through the automated fulfillable inventory settings:
Once you’ve enabled automated removals, we’ll return, liquidate, or dispose of the following:
Hope that helps!

I understand there's an option there but we are not doing automatic removal for our internal reason.
My post is specific to manual removal and I am not sure if system will follow the sequence of "first in first out"
thanks
