Account Under Temporary Review?

we received email about our account on temporary review. We're informed listings will be "deactivated". Funds will be "frozen". Until account is completed review. We're informed if we would like to appeal, we should go under Accounts health page and appeal.

We sent the requested information and got a denial email stating they need more information? I called account health and told I need to provide more orders to review but can't state a specific number of orders? We have over 7k orders in the last 30 days all done with amazon buy shipping services all our metrics are above standards can someone advise? @Roxy_Amazon @Jameson_Amazon @Atlas_Amazon @Emet_Amazon @Cade_Amazon

" We're informed listings will be "deactivated". Funds will be "frozen". Until account is completed review."

More and more frequently Amazon is taking a TWO STEP approach and you are probably caught with not doing one of the steps (or either one!)

You may be confusing AMAZON allowing you to list (or at least "ungate") an item or category and actually being APPROVED to sell a product. Amazon might ungate you for a CATEGORY, but there can be 100's of brands in the category and they ALL have their own restrictions.

AMAZON is only interested in FEES. They will allow a chimpanzee to list if it means they collect $$$$$.

Additionally, brands that you COULD sell yesterday may be restricted today or next week. Amazon is a moving target to deal with.

DO YOU have an LOA from the brand allowing you to sell on here?

If you have an LOA that specifically says you can sell on Amazon you MIGHT survive listing items.

More and more brands are providing a "whitelist" of their approved sellers and if YOU are NOT on the list you will be stopped in your tracks and probably hit with an IP violation.

DID YOU source from AUTHORIZED wholesale sources that your rep at the brand says are OK? You DO have a sales rep at the brand, don't you?

NOTE the verification is required from the brand that the source is legitimate and authorized, NOT from one of those touted on TikTok and YouTube as having "thousands of brands and products" that assures you that they are authorized.

If you have watched any YouTube or TikTok videos FORGET everything you saw there.

Spend hours/days on Seller U and read the Forum to see all the really creative ways rookies and experienced sellers find to get suspended by ignoring the advice above!

If you don't already have the above requirements in place you are probably going to have stranded inventory and a suspended account.

As mentioned this was due to a account review, I wanted to inquire on if you've taken a look over our related help page? Although I personally cannot see any specific orders or reason for the review, this page offers guidance on why this could be happening.

Why is my account under review?

Amazon considers multiple factors when deciding whether a selling account should be placed under temporary review. Some examples of these factors are included below. If your account exhibits multiple factors at one time, it could be placed under review.

  • You do not have a sufficient history of past sales. This can be either because you are new to the Amazon store or you have not sold for a long period. When you are new or have been dormant, it takes time to build up a positive history of buyer-seller transactions.
  • Multiple customers have indicated they did not receive the items they ordered (for example, by filing for refunds, A-to-z guarantee claims or posting negative feedback). We recommend that you work closely with your customers to resolve any issues and take steps to ensure prompt fulfillment of orders.
  • There is no tracking information available on your account or the tracking information is invalid. Valid tracking information can provide assurance to your customers that their orders are on the way and help Amazon validate that an order has been delivered. To access Amazon policies on tracking information, go to Valid Tracking Rate (VTR).
  • There has been an unusual change in your selling patterns. An unusual sales activity may include a recent spike in sales or significant change in the type of inventory you offer.
  • You are selling higher risk items. Higher risk items may include consumer electronics, computers or trending items.
  • You may be missing critical business information from your account that can help us validate positive buyer-seller history across other sales channels. Ensure that all your business information is up to date, including business website, address, and contact information, where applicable. Although this information is not mandatory it can verify your identity and expedite the review process.

Rather than providing a bunch of orders and tracking, I would suggest reviewing your account for any potential issues that may fall under these scenarios. Common situations I have encountered have been concerns of items not being received, typically as feedback or claims. Delays in orders arriving, or later than expected. Other situations could still be related to delays but items that are still in transit, but have exceeded the delivery date.

Typically in these situations, you will need to provide examples of these orders being delivered, or offering an explanation on why there may have been issues with said orders.

When it comes to the information you've already provided, can you advise what was included in this? Did you offer an explanation, or did you only provide orders and tracking information? Prior to my response, had you already reviewed your orders to confirm there were no issues?

The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.

Emet.
