Earlier, we were using auto-replenishment model from AWD. But it turns out to be the worst decision of our life. Amazon started sending a lot of inventory. Their system is so dumb that they predict your sales would be 2x and send inventory for maybe 3 months, which becomes 6 months of inventory.

But actually there is a 50% decline in sales and it became 12 months of inventory. Thus, you have to pay storage as well as LTSF/AIS.

To move the inventory faster we had to decrease the prices of our ASIN-B08L65Z76F and had to suffer losses. So, requesting you all to never ever use auto replenishment feature of AWD if your inventory is stored there.

AWD and FBA seems to have lost 4 cartons of our inventory.

We sent one pallet containing 10 skus (1 box each).

We see that AWD received all units sent. Immediately after, they auto-fulfilled all inventory to FBA.

However, when they created the shipments (3) - the contents included skus with ZERO quantities.

So our total inventory sent to AWD and received by AWD equaled 269 units.

The amount AWD appears to have sent to Amazon is 161 units (4 skus had 0 qtys).

The issue is - those 4 skus are nowhere to be found - they are not showing at AWD and they are not showing at FBA.

So - where did these skus go? How can AWD generate replenishment shipments with quantities of 0 units?

How can we be reimbursed for this?

If you do, you will eventually regret it. Amazon has been pushing AWD hard and now they have added the option to replenish off-Amazon sales channels via AWD. We decided to take the leap and ship all our stock to AWD, instead of shipping some of it to a 3PL warehouse.

Most of time AWD actually seems to work pretty well, yes there are delays but I don't expect this kind of service to be lightning fast. But now we have a situation where an off-Amazon replenishment order has been in a "processing" status for weeks. We are oos because we made the mistake of sending all our stock to AWD. All inventory of this product is tied in a "processing" replenishment order.

It seems AWD doesn't even have the dedicated support anymore, you are stuck dealing with the general seller support.

You can utilize AWD, most of the time it works pretty well. Just don't put all your eggs in one basket.
