Read onlyHello Amazon, I have a question. If seller A reported a violation on seller B, then 1 year later removed the policy violation, is seller A able to create a new policy violation in the future against seller B?
To further clarify, can a policy violation be removed, then a new one created or does removing the violation prohibit the ability to create a new violation in the future on that same seller?
Thanks!
Hello @Seller_u88MHcT2H5oQd
I understand you are looking to know more about how a violation works when it is a received complaint. It depends on the specific situation that is occurring.
For example, let's say seller A is a brand owner and reports seller B for infringement. Seller B will have the opportunity to resolve the violation by showing they are not infringing or they may work with the brand owner to resolve the issue. Our team would communicate what information is needed in the notification provided.
If the violation is resolved, but seller B continues to have products that infringe or suspected to be infringing, then seller A could submit another complaint as seller B would still be in violation. The issue may even be labelled a repeat concern if seller B receives multiple complaints for the same concern.
As mentioned, the situation is dependent upon the circumstances of the type of complaint and concern being reported. If you suspect someone is violating policy, then we would advise on reporting them.
