Hello everyone, I'm a new seller. I don't know if this has happened to you. I was receiving orders almost every day and the biweekly closing began and I've stopped receiving orders. Zero sales. I'm a little worried. Any suggestions?
Hello everyone, I'm a new seller. I don't know if this has happened to you. I was receiving orders almost every day and the biweekly closing began and I've stopped receiving orders. Zero sales. I'm a little worried. Any suggestions?
This is what no one will tell you. You don't need to be worried because everything is in your control.
1. You selected the product to sell. What did you base the product purchase on. You thought you could make a good profit on it, or the product was something that buyers want and need daily.
2. This is the holiday shopping season and the buying subconscious thought process changes from what I personally want and need to What a buyer thinks others would like. How does the product fit into this thought process?
3. Is your price in the lowest on the Amazon site? Buyers understand that the price displayed on the original page view (Buy Box) is not always the lowest. When they click the side tab to VIEW OTHER SELLERS, is yours the first one they see?
4. Amazon always promotes having competitive pricing so sellers will keep their offering price high. However, Amazon own products are never in that competitive price range. Theirs is always the lowest.
Amazon knows that that the lowest price offering always sells before the higher price offerings. Smart buyers also know this, so while competitive pricing sellers are buying advertising to keep their prices high, the lowest price offering is always selling first.
5. Is your title spammed or is it a short 3–5-word title directly to the point?5.
6. Did you test sell the product for a month by using FBM. This test sell will show the salability of the product and how much profit you can expect to make. Now, compare that month with this week's sales.
7. Don't think buying advertising will help the situation. The bottom line in online advertising is this. Advertising will not help sell a dead product that no one wants and if you have a good selling product, it is not necessary. And... Advertising is always paid out o your UNEARNED PROFIT.
8. Amazon is a for profit company and makes more profit off of what it can sell to sellers than in makes selling its own products. Knowing this, sellers should never take their eyes off of their desired profit to be made.
9. Sellers using FBM only pay one commission when the product is sold. Sellers using BA are Amazon's cash cow with fees always changing and going up in price.
Those 9 issues are the Bacics of Amazon selling, and you are in control of each. If you think about how eace is related to your product, the answer should be able to be found.
