Counter Notice DMCA 1

You asked me to start my own thread with a case ID.
Unless, I am missing something, no case ID is created when a DMCA counter notice is filed. I filed a counter notice against complaint ID 16488805521 on October 16. That is 16 days ago.
As per the DMCA, the listing should be restored within 10-14 days unless the complainant files suit, which has not happened in this matter.
I have noticed that Amazon drags their feet on these reinstatements. I wonder why.

I was able to work with the appropriate teams to learn the details. They confirmed that we received the DMCA submission on 10/21/24, so the 10 business days would have ended today 11/4/24, for the claimant to take action. If they do not take action it will take an additional few days for us to process and resolve the violation from your account.
