Hello!
This morning I got a message about the Invalid charge method, which has deactivated my Seller account. I have been using my company's debit card for the charge method since I open my account 10+ years, and there have been no problems so far. And even if I try to change the debit card to my Amazon Prime Credit Card still showing the same message -" Unable to charge - We are not able to charge your account. Assign a valid charge method to restore full access to your seller account."
I can't fulfill the orders in my account because I don't have access to my account. I opened a case and they told me I need to wait 48 hours to validate your charge method after updating.
Does anyone have any idea what to do?

This is my standard credit card template so use what applies!
Amazon is weird on so many levels and this seems to work at least sometimes!
First, be sure it is an actual CREDIT Card. While Amazon claims that a Debit Card will work, that is seldom true! They WILL charge a Debit Card for initial fees but they will NOT take it on continuing basis most of the time despite their claims!
Put the card number into your BUYER side account first. Wait an hour (sometimes less) for the gerbils to work their way through the system and then put it in the SELLER side.
There was one recent response from a seller on a post that they DELETED the card that was on the buyer side and put the SAME card back in after a little bit and it fixed the problem. Amazon is a maze of broken links in their antiquated software.
Here are a couple threads where an OP says it worked.

There are and will be others in the same boat.
A debit card just isn't going to work to activate a new account. But some established accounts are using a debit card. And it works, right up until it doesn't.
Does the card expire in less than six months? That may have been the trigger, but updating the expiration probably won't work now.
As suggested above, make changes first on the buyer side.
I just had this same error (possibly). I'm a US seller, and I clicked a link in a grim sounding email from amazon.ca about my credit card not working.
I didn't notice that the message was from Canadian amazon. Sometime like 11+ years ago I created a Canadian marketplace but never used it. No idea why it tried to charge my card which can and does work fine for my US store.
No matter what card I tried, nothing worked. Error message everywhere, and couldn't access my orders or my ads.
I noticed the "Switch Accounts" link at the top of the page above the error message. Miraculously this took me back to the US seller dashboard, where everything is working as intended.
Canadian account is still completely broken with no obvious way to fix it (honestly dont care), but at least I'm not getting blown out with the US side that I actually use.
Hopefully this helps you or someone else in the future.
