Read onlyOrder shipped on time, delivered on time and tracking shows delivered.bought shipping through Amazon buy shipping as FBM.Buyer claims did not get it.Amazon refunds and takes funds from me through an AtoZ claim as not recieved.I believe Amazon is supposed to cover this with buy shipping protection???
Was the order scanned by the carrier on or before the ship by date? Do you have AHT and SSA active?
respond to the a-z claim with a point by point of what you did correctly, ship by date, and shipped this date, scanned by carrier (on shipped date), tracking shows delivered on this date.
We just had an a-z claim reimbursement to us.
Hello @Seller_0uJqNzfGAT8bU. @Seller_z3XfkorVSmnEY provided you with some good information about responding to and appealing A-to-Z Claims.
For standard appeals covered by Amazon Buy Shipping protections, providing the basic details in a clear manner is very helpful. Please check back if you still need guidance.

There are two types of protections available from Amazon Buy Shipping: Claims Protection and OTDR Protection.
For Claims Protection: Amazon Buy Shipping shipments qualify for A-to-z and SAFE-T claims protections against "Package didn’t arrive" claims when all of the following conditions are true:
The buyer was reimbursed by Amazon for not receiving their package.
The shipping label was purchased with Amazon Buy Shipping and was a "Claims Protected" shipping service. The "Claims Protected" badge will be displayed in the Amazon Buy Shipping user interface before purchase and in the order details page Shipping label purchase section after the label is purchased. (Note: "Late Delivery Risk" labels are ineligible for protections).
Note: Based on Amazon's observation of millions of shipments, we have a high confidence that "Claims Protected" shipping services will deliver on time. "Late Delivery Risk" shipping services are those that, according to Amazon’s estimated delivery date, have a lower chance of being delivered on-time for the specific order.
The order was shipped on time, which will be considered at the moment of the carrier’s first scan, not when you confirm shipment.
When all of the above conditions are true, Amazon will fund the buyer reimbursement and the customer-reported claim will not be counted against your order defect rate.
Did you have the package scanned by the carrier at the time of shipment? If using the Post Office a "scan sheet" is NOT a "carrier acceptance scan" proving that a package was shipped on time. The "first" carrier scan my not occur until the package is scanned "out for delivery" way past Amazon's 99.9% wrong estimates. But in those cases you will always lose (also remember you are not dealing with US based Amazon employees who care nothing about you or your business and do not understand Amazon policy).
We have the Post Office Counter Clerk weigh and scan each individual package (pursuant to Post Office rules in effect since October 2012 - yes more than 12 years ago although some lazy clerks will argue with you about it).
Maybe so, and maybe NO.
You have been asked multiple times whether or not the package was physically scanned into the Carrier's possession before the close of the "Ship-By" window as scheduled by Amazon.
And you have not answered.
Instead, you want to engage in a pointless argument whether or not AHT & SSA are applicable in this case.
F.Y.I. They are NOT. AHT & SSA are part of ODTR protection, NOT Claims Protection.
So, this is VERY simple.
IF you purchased Postage using "Amazon Buy Shipping" AND you shipped "On-Time" as defined by Amazon, then you simply need to appeal the Claim with the order details and the facts, and you will "WIN".
If, however you did NOT make SURE the packages were physically scanned into the Carrier's possession before the close of the "Ship-By" window, then THAT is why you "Lost" the Claim.
Remember, "Self-Serve Scan" kiosks, "Scan-Sheets" and "Drop-Boxes" are NOT recognized by Amazon as a valid transfer of possession from the Seller to the Carrier.
So, WAS it scanned into the Carrier's possession "On-Time" or not?
They will look for any reason to deny your claim. Sometimes they just deny it in hopes you will go away. Youll have to submit an appeal and write it out like you are speaking to a 5 year old. They do not know policy at all.
Not true. In fact, ALL you have to do is include the complete order details including Tracking history, and a copy of the Amazon Policy, and that is only IF they get it wrong at first and require you to appeal.
My experience is completely different than yours.
This December alone we had THREE A-Z Claims for INR, and we only found out about them AFTER they had been granted by Amazon, Amazon-Funded, and with Zero effect on our Seller Metrics. In other words, the system worked exactly as is was advertised, and I didn't have to lift a finger.
Of course, we ALWAYS purchase Postage using "Amazon Buy Shipping" and we ALWAYS have the packages scanned into the Carrier's possession before the end of the "Ship-By" window.
And so Amazon ALWAYS gets it "Right" when we are subject to an A-Z Claim arising from a "Problem with Delivery", including Missing AND "Late" deliveries.
I refuse to believe that Amazon is "Playing favorites", and that they like US more than they like YOU.
No, IF you are NOT "Winning: any A-Z Claims arising from a "Problem with Delivery", then either you did NOT purchase postage using Amazon Buy Shipping, OR you did NOT make SURE that packages were scanned into the Carrier's possession "On-Time".
In other words, the fault is with YOU, and NOT that:
We just had this happen and amazon never even gave us a chance to respond to the claim, They just up and refunded it out of our account. Any time in the past this happened such as a couple of weeks ago where buyer claimed they didnt get it tracking confirms they did..., we were not held responsible and we were not debited. Now this time same reasoning except they debited the funds from the account. Appealed it, no telling how that will go but buyshipping? Useless. Will not use it anymore. The badge was there when we purchased the label. No good whatsoever.
