where does amazon come up with this nonsense?- shipping
So... I get an order for a heavy piece from Alaska - Amazon adds $75 and tells me to ship priority mail ... where do they make this stuff up from? .. using amazon ship - it says NO SOURCE AVAILABLE .. checking the USPS commercial shipper website:

Gee thanks Amazon - total sale WITH you $75 was $147.49... so another ding for cancel - but since we are just about out of here - a few items left in our warehouse as we are retiring - I could care less for the ding - but feel sorry for a customer who thinks they are getting this.

I don't ... just like the $72.50 charge - perhaps a bot now decided I must ship there.
Are any of us surprised? ... over 20 years on amazon and so amazed at the vast incompetence now in both seller service and computer glitches.
I truly am down to my last few items listed and removing most of them .. will donate remaining glass bottles and jars to RESTORE or Goodwill

Anytime you mention a place that comes up. Apparently the forum thinks you're revealing where you live or something and flags it. You know, unlike doxxing you with the advent of this "new and improved forum" or the Amazon website making it public where you actually ARE located. 🙄
