Has Amazon ever discussed allowing sellers to rate buyers, similar to how Ebay does? For the most part most of my customers are pretty good but man do the rotten ones really leave a bad taste in your mouth and make you question if it is worth selling, especially when their feedback doesn't have to be truthful. I have had a handful of buyers buy products without checking the details or even looking at all the pictures, they get what they pay for and then want to write negative feedback (after offering many solutions as a compromise just to keep them happy) and as sellers we have no recourse. Or what about the instances where customers send returns that are either entirely wrong, used, or not in the original condition and you get a fraction of the cost back as a restocking fee? Sellers should be able to review buyers just the same that way at least we know who or what we may be dealing with when doing our customer service.
Thanks for this thought, @Seller_a6SpRQntl6b0M- I know rideshare apps also often have the ability for drivers to rate riders. I've made sure to log this feedback as appropriate internally for our team's consideration as future projects are determined. I can't make any promises and won't be able to provide any updates on the topic, but I myself do see the value in such a feature!
Thanks again for taking the time to share this here on the seller forums!
Best,
Danny
