Fifteen year seller. Why is it after a few sales on Sunday there is nothing the rest of the week? It seems as if an off switch has been thrown. This does not make any sense, but it happens over and over.

Because, To CN sellers, they have 10,20,30,50, or more 100 seller accounts, if one supsend, then they go on selling by another one immediately under the same ASIN and brand;
About 90% of them are like to buy fake Reviews and orders to manulipuate the Rank of the ASINs, but seems that, AMZ CN team encourage or help them to do so.
If so, how to competitor with them?
I sell on several sights.
I'm finding the same thing across all of them. Very quiet week. Then one day all the sales come in. Saturday has been my day. If I don't have a boat load of sales on Saturday I have nothing or close to nothing for the rest of the week.
I think it's the economy.
Selling product placement and ads seems to have been increasing. I do not pay more than the usual fees so often get pushed out of the view of customers.
This year my sales collapsed on Black Friday and have yet to recover. Here is a chart showing where i was and where I am now.
I am making more on crypto than selling on Amazon and will be retiring soon, so not too concerned. My business was wrecked by the postal service increasing my shipping while subsidizing Chinese sellers. It is beyond ludicrous and I have given up on the problem ever being fixed.
For Example,
To the ASIN: I sale the time at the same class earlier 7 months than The comeptitor seller , later, the competitor, I watched him buy many many fake Reviews and orders,then become the best seller within a few days, later his account suspend, Reinstate, Suspendd, Reinstate, after pay money to his accounter manager, because his account manager can take 3% from this sales amount include basically 5000 USD( This is 3 years ago price); later, Suspend again.
Then, the competitor seller use many of his other accounts to go on selling the ASIN under the same ASIN and brand.
Now, the ASIN still is the Best seller.
So, how to competit with them?
I've been here for 8 years. This is the first time I've had days where I've closed without a sale like you mentioned. And it's happened twice this week.
