My account has been deactivated for over a year due to multiple selling accounts.
I opened a second account because the letter containing the activation code was stranded in the mail and did not arrive for a few months.
At the time both, my first and second accounts were deactivated. I reactivated the second account according to amazon's instructions. I then deleted the second account.
I went back to the first account and submitted the second account's reactivation email and deleted account notification, as per amazon's instructions. However, somehow my first account still shows as related to a second account and I am not able to reactivate my account.
Please help, I have been appealing my deactivation for a year but I am still shown to be related to a second account.
Kind Regards,
Hello @Seller_jbGzOwwcfbRQr,
Thank you for reaching out. I hope you are having a wonderful day.
I understand that your current account is deactivated due to being related to another account.
Per our Amazon's Multiple account policy(https://sellercentral.amazon.com/learn/courses?ref_=selleru_athena&courseId=74c81f60-b036-47ad-8851-d0130b7155fa&moduleId=1e699b06-7a02-49f7-a155-4642280a63d0&modLanguage=English&contentType=VIDEO&category=TUTORIAL&ref=xx_SellerUniversity_xxxx_meldedSidebarSearch&mons_sel_mkid=amzn1.mp.o.ATVPDKIKX0DER&mons_sel_mcid=amzn1.merchant.o.A2KQM1I7NY5HJR&mons_sel_persist=true&videoPlayer=airy), you can have one account per seller per region unless you have a legitimate business need for opening a second account. And all accounts must be in good standing.
If the related account has the same name, this may be a scenario where you may have opted for global registration at the initial creation of your account. This allows sellers to create selling accounts in multiple Amazon stores worldwide through one registration application. These accounts are linked together and use a single sign-on in Seller Central so that you can log into the accounts with a single email address and password. Since you have one set of login credentials, you may believe you have only one account, but that is not always the case if you registered in more than one region. Region examples would be the North American region containing the US, Canada, and Mexican marketplaces whereas the European regions would include the UK, France, and Germany marketplaces.
However, somehow my first account still shows as related to a second account and I am not able to reactivate my account.
You always want to check all of the regions you have and to make sure that they are all in good standing. If any of your accounts are deactivated, make sure to check your performance notification to see what your next steps are to reinstate the accounts.
Once you have reinstated the account that is related to your current account, you must submit an appeal stating that the account that is related to your current account has been reinstated.
Best wishes,
