Our UPC is being used by a Generic product

@Roberto_AmazonRoberto, I'm tagging you because I see one discussion that is exactly the same as our issue, and you are trying to fix it, but I don't want to add my information in tha discussion, so we don't get confused. It is your discussion with "Canconversion"

Basically, I have two UPCs that were used to create two products with a brand name really similar to our brand, but it shows in the system as Generic product.

I have tried everything seller support suggested in the last 3 months. Every call I get different information, some information I even know is wrong.

One of the associates was able to work with the internal team and he was able to fix the brand name, so both ASIN's have the right Brand name, but still shows on the system as Generic product, so we are stuck and we can't do anything. For some reason, I was able to add them to my inventory, but now every time I open the edit page I get the generic product error saying we cannot do anything.

Another suggestion was to create another ASIN with the same UPC, which I always thought is not possible, but please look at the attached screenshot. When I tried to create a new ASIN, the system shows the existing ASIN as suggestion, and when we click "this is not my product" there is one option listed saying we could request an exemption to create a new ASIN with the same GTIN, which was said to us it is not possible, in this case id 16342822621. Is it possible or not? My last case about this issue is case 16381673451.

Some additional info... You will see on the cases that we provided all sorts of docs, GS1 certificate, letter of affiliation, trademark, real product images, error screenshots, we even went through the process of approving our brand with the GTIN prefix, please see this case 16034415771.

Anybody with any insight or suggestion on this?

case 16381673451 just got close with a resolution that even I know it is not the right path... It amazes me to see how unprepared some of the agents at seller support are.

Again, I really would appreciate some help on this case which is open for over a month, for a issue that is happening for over 3 months, with multiple cases opened and no solution.
