🚨🤬 BUYER IGNORES CLEAR WARNINGS, LEAVES FALSE 1-STAR REVIEW—MODS, PLEASE STEP IN! 🤬🚨

Hey everyone,

I need some advice (and maybe a sanity check) on a frustrating situation. A customer left a 1-star review claiming our product "doesn’t fit standard sizes" and that the listing "wasn’t clear."

Here’s the kicker:

✔️ The product description repeatedly states it’s only for [specific size], NOT standard in Title, Bullets, Images

✔️ The customer also messaged us and we confirmed it wouldn’t fit their setup.

✔️ They bought it and left a negative review, blaming us for their mistake.

✔️ Checking their page, they’ve done this multiple times with similar products to other sellers- leaving bad reviews .

  • We've already: Reported to Amazon Support with full screenshots
  • Escalated to the review abuse team, but no actions.

This feels intentionally misleading and unfair. Mods, can you look into this? Case id:17443564371

Has anyone else dealt with a buyer like this? How do you handle reviews where the customer ignores clear warnings and then blames the seller?

I am afraid the only relative amount of peace you will find concerning this issue is to accept the reality of what Amazon is. Not that you should or ever will like it.

Amazon deliberately attracts the lowest common denominator, for the purpose of showing growth to it's stockholders. To Amazon, honesty and fairness are not even a close second. Nothing else really matters to them.

It seems it is only the stockholders that don't yet realize what a shambles Amazon has become. Buyers, sellers, contractors, employees and vendors know it as well as you do.

Things will not change until the shareholders recognize what they are holding, but by then, it will probably be too late to bring things back.

Get what you can get out of it, while you still can. Never imagine that you are engaged with a loyal partner.

Sorry, we have no help to offer but just sharing that we have a similar customer. We've been selling this item (handmade personalized candle) for over a year and have sold a couple hundred of it. We finally got our first review for it and it's a 1-star review. Their claims are mostly unfounded because we show what they get very clearly. It's akin to a listing that shows a pink dinosaur and then the reviewer claiming "it's just so pink"... anyone with a brain could determine that this is abusive and unfair but since it's allowed within community guidelines, it's ok. So, now our only review for this product is a 1-star... I don't think I've ever purchased a 1-star product. They basically killed our product and we'll need to just create a new version to start fresh.

We did reach out to Amazon a few ways but that hasn't helped.
