Hi, there is a serious problem with the classification of FBA vs FBM offers on used books. This problem has been long debated on the American forum.(Problem with the classification of FBA vs FBM offers on used books).but in Canada we have the same problem. Problem with the classification of FBA vs FBM offers on used books.

I sell books in mostly Used Condition through FBA. I have noticed that almost every single return is being marked as unsellable condition, however after changing the removal to coming back to me, it is clearly evident that Amazon employees are just marking all as unsellable because they are used, not noting that they are used items. I'm actually very disappointed by this and have now lost hundreds in sales and products due to the poor training of Amazon staff members. My questions:

1) get back the lost funds from products that were erroneously destroyed?

2) Is there a program or option to dispute their evaluation of a return's condition?

I understand that returns are part of any business, but this is simply a HUGE disappointment and frustration for me.

I have acquire brand new UK editions of best-selling books. The ISBN-13 is identical to the US editions, but some of the books have minor differences such as variations of the quotes on the cover, some have a cover with a different shade of the same color, and others are identical to the US edition but have pricing in pounds printed on the back. Since they are brand new, I would prefer to list them as 'New' on Amazon Canada, but I'm not allowed to include condition notes for new items. Creating a new listing is also not an option due to the same ISBN-13.

Has anyone encountered this situation before, and what would you recommend? For now, I'm considering listing them as 'Like New' and indicating in the condition notes that they are new but the UK edition. Any advice on the best approach?
