Got this message this morning:

It turned out they just need to routinely verify the bank account and ask for a bank statement, and they are just threatening to deactivate your account. So rude! and no wonder they will close your account whenever they feel they want. I am moving my business to other platform, and this encourages me to do it quicker.

It happened to us.

All they wanted us to do is verify some information they have since we opened the account in 2016. We have to click on our account info, then click save without any changes.

When I saw the massage my heart dropped from my chest to my toes.

I get so tired of getting notifications like that. They threaten to close your account constantly. However, if they lose your products in fulfillmentnt center, nothing happens to them.

It's such weird behavior by Amazon. It's almost as if they want us sellers to always be scared we could wake up with our account permanently suspended without recourse. It's sick. I used to love selling here, but now I just tolerate it. Building my eBay and starting to sell on Walmart is the only way I can operate without fear I'll be without an income over something completely out of my control. I've sold 7 figures of product on here, but Amazon couldn't care less.

i was on the phone for 4 hours yesterday trying to fix my listings on my account. then 25 min. after getting off the phone they deactivated my account cause a new product i put up. they gave me one warning about 2 weeks ago about the product saying its forbidden to sell. yet i see there are multiple listings for the product on amazon from other sellers. now im shut down. :(

Happened to me too. I was watching a movie with the family, paused it for a few minutes for a break, hopped on Amazon to check on things, saw that alert and had a mini heart attack. Ruined my entire evening. I'm still salty over it. I don't get a ton of family time and the one evening I try and relax, Amazon pulls their $hit.

They found out this is the way they get the most action from sellers they communicate with. Please note nobody will beg you to stay, they will close your account in a few seconds also, currently, depending on what products you sell, there is no serious competition for Amazon from marketplaces.
