VTR @ 82% - ALL YODEL DELIVERIES AFFECTED

We have downloaded the report, all Yodel deliveries do not have a Valid Tracking Number and no physical scan / attempt although they have ALL been delivered before Promised Delivery Date.

Consequently, our VTR is below target. We have been using Yodel for a long time without issue.

Is there a glitch on the system?

How are other sellers reporting this issue and was the resolution?

Thanks in advance.

I use Yodel quite often. When you confirm shipment do you enter the barcode on the label without hyphens and spaces - it will not be recognised of you put a hyphen.

Just ran report and also have yodel deliveries showing up. Tracking as always auto sent from yodel / yodel direct, so no reason for them to start appearing as invalid VTR

There is a definite glitch. I mainly use Yodel and my VTR has dropped to less than 65%. All orders have been delivered. It was reported on another thread that Amazon seller support have said there is an issue.

was there a resolution to bring the VTR rate to where it should be?

The VTR system is, quite frankly, unnecessary. The previous system functioned beautifully: if an order lacked tracking, the customer either received a refund or the item was resent. Considering Amazon's policy regarding VTR and the consistent troubles it causes for both merchants and Amazon itself, I strongly question its necessity. The system didn't need to exist in the first place.

Instead of penalizing all sellers, a more reasonable approach would be to address specific cases of poor feedback or consistent delivery issues. Sellers struggling with non-delivery rates could be identified and supported to improve their performance.

However, the current system unfairly categorizes all sellers who fall even slightly below the arbitrary 95% threshold as substandard. This occurs regardless of the root cause, which often includes software failures from Amazon, DPD, or Yodel. Sellers are essentially being forced into buying shipping through Amazon, yet even with "protected status," the system remains prone to failure.

To put it plainly, VTR doesn't need to exist at all. It has become a source of frustration for many merchants, as the software frequently malfunctions. Worse still, Amazon seems unable—or unwilling—to acknowledge these issues. Their staff either fail to understand or simply disregard the fact that the system doesn't work as intended.

Royal Mail also affected.

Received a call from Account Health, they had zero clue and said for me to open a case as "Seller Support" can help!!

We have the same issue. VTR has dropped significantly due to Yodel, most of the parcels are delivered on time.

Amazon system is not recognising the delivered scan for some reason.

We have raised a case with Seller Support, it is being investigated by their internal team, which may take days or weeks.

Amazon has over complicated the whole system for their own benefit. All these metrics distract sellers from running their businesses.

We will just stop using Yodel, simple.
