You go to your carrier, buy a label, save it and send it as an attachment.

There is no mechanism in place within Amazon to do this. You can buy a label through PayPal or click n ship and then send as an attachment or snail mail. It is a PITA and I’m very glad I’ve had very few returns

Am I missing something here? The whole point of the automated return system is to automatically send your buyer a prepaid return label. If it did not do that you should investigate why not, and make sure you are in the automated returns program (although I think its mandatory), and if your settings are correct. Is the return within policy? Just because a buyer wants a return label does not mean they are entitled to one, you have to make sure they are.
