Amazon is asking me for supplier invoices because they believe I was selling "inauthentic products" and this suspension happened 4 years ago.
Amazon is asking for invoices for the products within the last 365 days but the suspension happened over 4 years ago. I am a dropshipper and these products are sold by countless sellers on Amazon. Why is amazon being so difficult?

Have you been strictly following all of the dropshipping policies? If so, did you provide Amazon with a copy of your contract with any companies that dropship for you?
Perhaps they have invoices. Perhaps not. Either way, not relevant to your case.
Because there was apparently something to make them question the authenticity of your products. Once they have any reason to suspect, they MUST verify things; otherwise they are placing themselves in a position of liability.
If the suspension happened 4 years ago, why are you only now trying to resolve it? Why didn't you send in the required invoices 4 years ago?
I'll admit, I don't have an answer for that. Your contract with the company, along with your written authorization from the brand should be enough.
Regardless of how you label it, there can be IP issues. If you sell a Nike clone as "generic", then Nike will come after you. Same with many other companies.
Was this really a generic? or was it a knock-off pretending to not infringe on trademark/patent issues?
My sympathies for your accident. I hope your recovery is proceeding well. Sadly, Amazon has no sympathy. IMO, the "within 365 days" requirement is BS; they should accept invoices that reflect the period of the sales that generated the problems. It really makes no sense that they don't.
I wish you well in your progress; but I'm afraid that I cannot offer any more meaningful advice here. Amazon is a real PITA at times.

Thank you for the information provided regarding the issues you have been attempting to resolve. I understand that our team is requesting more information regarding the invoice documentation for products they have authenticity concerns with. I know this can be frustrating given the time that has gone by, and I do want to provide assistance to you so that you may move forward.
Would you be able to share the messaging that you received most recently in regards to the issue? Have you attempted to provide any documents for review as of now? Drop shipping on this platform can be very risky as our team expects that you are shipping and handling the packages yourself as it is indicated to the customers. How were you ensuring that you are the seller of record on each order?
We encourage you to share more information regarding this situation so we may better understand the current request and provide support to you.
Best,
Atlas
