Is Amazon Playing Monopoly Against Sellers from Pakistan?

Amazon portrays itself as a global platform for entrepreneurs, yet it seems increasingly apparent that sellers from Pakistan are being unjustly targeted and excluded. The level of scrutiny, baseless accusations, and abrupt account deactivations without clear explanations reflect a pattern that feels more like monopoly enforcement than fair business practices.

For sellers like us, who have invested significant resources to comply with Amazon’s requirements, this treatment is demoralizing and discriminatory. We are not asking for special treatment—just fairness. Why are Pakistani sellers facing disproportionate challenges compared to sellers from other regions?

It’s high time Amazon lives up to its claim of being an inclusive marketplace and stops creating unnecessary hurdles for sellers from countries like Pakistan. Monopoly has no place in a platform that thrives on the success of small businesses.

Let’s demand fairness and transparency. Have others faced similar issues? Let’s discuss and make our voices heard!

And how do you know that? Amazon treats all sellers the same way, if you can follow directions and adhere to policy, then you are in. If you can't, then you are out.

Hi @Seller_AOAwU6NJu5uvG

Connor from Amazon here, thanks for reaching out.

Can you clarify more here? Was your account deactivated, if it has, have you reached out to seller support yet, and if you have can you share any case IDs with me?

As @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9 already mentioned, we do treat all of sellers from anywhere in the world the same way. All policies are the same for all, if those are violated then there are steps to address those. However in some of those situations there is no path forward for some sellers depending on the severity of the violation.

Happy to help further if you have any additional questions or cases I can take a look at.
