If you’re taking time off over the holiday season, set your account to vacation mode to avoid overlooking orders that could affect your performance.
This setting temporarily removes your seller-fulfilled listings from Amazon product detail pages and search results.
To set up vacation mode, go to Settings> Account Info > Going on a vacation?
For more information, go to Listing status for vacations, holidays, and other absences.
Does Vacation mode affect removal order deliveries? We notified UPS but how can we notify Amazon Logistics?
Amazon needs a calendar to allow sellers to schedule this in advance rather than flipping a switch each time.
I’ve heard tale that if one puts one’s store on vacay, one’s store loses visibility once one comes back from vacay. Not chancing it and just going to stay open until we’re ready to close forever.
Compara, pero no ofendas…

It’s not a good system at all. We need to switch it off for just one day (Dec 26) but you have to login and switch it off at the right time, otherwise you still can get orders showing up with that date for shipping.
Both Walmart and ebay have simple calendars where you can select days you won’t be shipping.
They also allow customers to place orders but just adjust the expected shipping day.
That’s how it should be.
I have Mexico and Canada in INACTIVE mode for months, but I'm still being charged for professional seller fees. There is no option to opt out unless you downgrade all 3 countries.
Amazon does not provide any option to list ONLY in USA market. When a new list is created and becomes active, amazon automatically replicate it in Canada and mexico, so I have to manually delete them.
Amazon fees page says that we are subject to professional seller fees ONLY if we keep active listings. Well, have them in Inactive mode and invisible to buyers does not stop the charging. I have a negative balance in Canada and Mexico and amazon does not stop the monthly charges. I sell on FBM in USA and I don't have international shipping enabled.
If you guys want to make us pay more for professional selling fees by forcing us to sell on MX and CN, please advertise the real professional seller fees, because it is NOT $40.
the amount of sellers going on vacation over this time of year. lol
shipped 265 items today, 300 saturday, and another 70 already waiting for tomorrow.
This is so annoying. Three days ago I set ALL of my listings to “inactive.”
And today, I sold an item.
I’ve heard this happen from others as well. When will that glitch be addressed?
