Read onlyDoes any one have same experience recently? I originally got reported by buyers that the packages are not moving. So I called Fedex and they informed me that the packages got seized by the real carrier which is USPS for the reason that postage not paid. What??? As you know, for this particular type of shipping method, USPS is the carrier to deliver the packages for Fedex. So I contacted USPS Unpaid Postage Dept. Guess what? For almost two months, they are still holding my packages and don't want to release. They said the platform company didn't provide them the payment paid proof. So what's going on with Amazon/Fedex/USPS? how come we paid label on Amazon but carrier said we didn't pay? Even though I provided USPS the proof the postage paid for, they don't accept it and want to receive proof from Amazon. Contacted Amazon Seller Support. And now escalate the case to the upper team. Hope this issue can be solved asap. Anyone have same issue rising recently with Fedex Eco. Ground?
Amazon Seller Support team asked me to file a claim with Fedex. So this turns to an endless bad loop. Fedex asked us to contact USPS, USPS asked us to contact Amazon, Amazon asked us to contact Fedex. Who took our postage money? Why nobody wants to solve the issue? We paid postages on Amazon, got the lables, shipped packages, but USPS seized packages. Buyers are complaining. We did nothing wrong in this matter but becomes a victim. What's going on with Fedex Economy Ground? If these parties haven't had internal procedures settled, why Amazon offers this shipping method on the platform?
Asleep at the wheel. This is a something that should be addressed ASAP. I'd hope Buy Shipping would completely cover the inevitable claims.
Interesting...
I bet USPS/FedEx sent invoice to Amazon, but Amazon rejected the invoice as unauthentic (just like they do when sellers need to confirm that the item is authentic and was purchased form an authorized source). :-)
Hmm.. I wonder if I can play the same card with my mortgage, utility, and credit card bills... I will simply not pay them and ask them to provide the authentic bill and plan of action. :-)
At this point, I'm still waiting for Amazon's response. They said they are contacting internal team and will get back to me. Now I'm scared to use Fedex Ground Economy. I would rather pay a little bit extra for other shipping services. With very limited profit margin, this really sucks. It's getting more and more difficult to do business on Amazon. Too many unexpected things happened that distract you from focusing on improving your sales.
Are they telling you why the postage wasn't paid (likely just not fully paid). Did you enter the correct dimensions and weight? Was the item anything hazardous like containing lithium ion batteries?
USPS does not delivery any Fed Ex or UPS any longer!!!

10.0 Dual-Shipping Labels
Mailers must not use dual-shipping labels, which are used by private shippers to identify both the Postal Service and a private carrier as possible delivery agent. Postal Service Post Offices must not accept items bearing dual-shipping labels and may return such items to the sender.
My experience is that you have to drop the FedEx Economy Ground Package to FedEx first, and then FedEx will transfer the package to USPS. USPS is only responsible for the last mile delivery. If you drop the package to USPS, it will be rejected or held.
Doesn't just happen w/ Fedex! OP, did your parcel happen to go to Pacific Northwest region?
Recently, using AMAZON POSTAGE, a USPS PRIORITY MAIL EXPRESS labeled order that USPS hub refused to deliver to final destination. USPS said we hadn't paid for the label(we paid $27.75 plus 3.50 for sig. con thru AMZ). Order was counter-scanned and reached the hub overnight, so found USPS reason suspicious.
Buyer was anxious to get this expensive/rare book so drove to Spokane; then paid counter price for shipping(over $38). Sent us the USPS receipt to reimburse
Informed on a different seller forum there's a rumor that AMAZON isn't-or is slow- paying USPS for labels. Might be the issue w/ other shippers as well!
Hello @Seller_JUAnJsSrNQ9lq I am following up on your question about your recent shipments.
To clarify: you purchased Fedex Economy Ground shipping labels through Buy Shipping; were the packages dropped off with USPS or with FedEx?
Can you share a support case so I can check the details and determine what next steps may be available?
