Dear Brand Registry Partner Team,
I registered my brand with a pending trademark application, recently I was told by the USPTO that my application may be rejected but I can submit evidences to appeal for my case.
However, in worse case scenario, my application gets rejected. So my questions are as follow:
It's hard as a small seller to establish assets (good listings and reviews) on Amazon, I appreciate your time in reviewing my questions.
My brand was previously revoked from Brand Registry, and during that time, some of my listings were hijacked by other sellers who modified the brand name. Now that I have regained Brand Registry, what steps should I take to restore the correct brand name on those hijacked listings?
Dear Brand Registry Partner Team,
We are seeking advice on how to prevent unauthorized sellers from listing our products on Amazon. Our primary goal is to ensure that Amazon customers receive genuine, unused products with a long shelf life, supported by great customer service. We are concerned that unauthorized sellers may compromise this experience by listing products without adhering to these standards.
Could Brand Gating be a potential solution to address this issue?
If so, could you provide details about how Brand Gating works?
What are the requirements or eligibility criteria to implement this for a brand?
We would greatly appreciate any guidance you can offer to help us maintain a consistent and reliable customer experience.
Dear Amazon Brand Registry Team,
I am reaching out regarding an issue with my account preventing me from registering any brand in Brand Registry. I received a notice indicating that this decision was made due to one or more of the following reasons:
Engaging in conduct that violates Brand Registry policies, such as invalid notice submissions or tampering with the catalog.
Association with other accounts or brands that have violated Amazon or Brand Registry policies.
Ownership of one or more selling accounts that have failed seller verification.
Inability to provide sufficient evidence of branding on products or packaging.
A deactivated selling account.
Trademark application concerns, such as being filed by a firm potentially violating U.S. federal regulations and USPTO rules.
I would like to better understand the specific reason(s) that apply to my case so I can take the necessary steps to address the issue. Please let me know if you require additional information or documents to assist with this review.
I greatly appreciate your time and assistance and look forward to your guidance on how to resolve this matter.
Dear Brand Registry Partner Team,
We have two Brand Registry-approved trademarks, Brand A and Brand B. We want to rebrand some established products currently listed under Brand A to Brand B for branding purposes. Is this rebranding possible, and if so, what is the procedure to transition these products from one brand name to the other?
Thanks in advance!
Dear Brand Registry Partner Team,
I am unclear about the rules for correcting the brand name on listings. While every seller has the ability to create a listing, there seems to be an issue when incorrect brand names are applied to products. Despite the fact that the correct brand name is clearly displayed on the product, packaging (color box), and the official GS1 EAN code (which belongs to the brand owner), the brand owner is still unable to request a correction of the brand name on the listing.
The issues we are facing are as follows:
1. The brand owner is forced to create a new listing for the same product, as the incorrect brand name is associated with the current ASIN. We are unable to make edits to the existing listing or create A+.
2. We cannot delete any ASIN completely (only from our listings), meaning the old ASIN and the new ASIN (representing the same product) become competitors.
3. The brand owner may lose valuable feedback and reviews associated with the original listing.
4. The incorrect ASIN is using the original manufacturer's EAN code to create the listing. If the brand owner is forced to create a new listing, they are required to use a new EAN code, which does not match the original EAN code printed on the packaging. This would require the brand owner to rework the packaging and apply a new EAN code sticker over the old one, which is inefficient, confusing, and causes trouble in internal product management.
It would be very helpful to resolve this issue.
Thank you for your time and support.
Thanks to @Vimerson_Health_569 for bringing up the brand gating issue.
Besides, we also have third-party sellers who often undercut prices to gain the Buy Box. Even though they are "new sellers" with zero feedback, they can still win the Buy Box by offering a lower price.
The brand owners and distributors have much higher costs (e.g., creating A+ content, advertising, technical support, etc) compared to third-party sellers.
We don't want to keep lowering the price and end up in a "price war." This doesn't hurt the third-party sellers, but it does harm the brand owners.
With a lower price, third-party sellers win the Buy Box but they don’t offer customer support. The buyer doesn’t receive proper service, and the brand owner loses our brand reputation.
We would greatly appreciate having the brand gating to protect the brand owners.
Hello
I'm having issues with trying to change the Capitalization of my Brand in Amazon so that all of my Existing and future products show the new capitalization we're using as well as the Store and links related to our brand.
