Read onlyPlease explain. I am not sure what I am looking at.
sports and nutrition supplements are one of the top offenders.
I haven’t seen this type of scam before the Facebook thread. I wonder how long it has really been going on – or how much longer it will go on for.
Possibly due to at home workouts and people returning back to the gym?
I was taking advantage of the buy 1 get one fb amazon pre-workout supplements, even 5 years ago.
Now I despise those companies
what got me ticked here, is they are making people think it’s amazon making the offer
Is there a way to notify Amazon about the misuse of their logo? It’s a violation of trademark AND the TOS:
You may not issue any press release or make any public statement related to the Services, or use our name, trademarks, or logo, in any way (including in promotional material) without our advance written permission, or misrepresent or embellish the relationship between us in any way. You may only use the “Available at Amazon” badge as defined in and according to the Trademark Usage Guidelines available in Seller Central; you may not use our name, trademarks, or logos in any way (including in promotional material) not covered by the Trademark Usage Guidelines without our advance written permission.
For me the normal, I consider it a scam, is to get the offer with the order. $10 to $25 from PP for doing reviews or FB.
I am getting tired of buying on Amazon and getting the inserts for these offers.
When I have reported, crickets.
I have seen ads like these when on FB. It is pretty widespread
We reported an even more gross violation of the terms of service twice and never heard back from Amazon. (1) Seller has a sticker on the packaging for a free product in exchange for a positive review with a separate website setup to handle the scheme. (2) Seller changed their product to something completely different and kept the same ASIN and thus that ASIN’s rank and reviews. (3) Seller has a lead image that doesn’t match what the buyers get. (4) Seller has directions in their listing that are so incorrect, if the buyer followed them they may end up in the hospital. Also, we are 99% sure this seller has been buying up our product and leaving negative ratings to drive us down. We are the only 2 sellers with this particular potency of a supplement. Yes, we sell supplements but we are doing it right, fair, and legitimately, following every rule to the letter of the TOS. Not every supplement seller is a BS artist. There are a lot out there though that give the industry a bad name. Any moderators out there that would like to discuss this violation with me, please message us. I have every piece of evidence that would be needed to prove what’s going on. Thanks! Good Luck Everyone.
