new reimbursement policy

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding Amazon's new reimbursement policy? The default cost price Amazon uses is about 20% lower than the actual cost. I updated my real cost price and submitted invoices, but Amazon denied it. Has anyone faced a similar issue or found a solution? This is crazy! I buy directly from the brand!

Yes, this is the issue we are facing, in addition Amazon is taking forever to reply to our open cases regarding lost inventory. If this is the way things are gonna go down now, it seems it will be very very difficult to make a profit, unless your margins are high already to absorb this loss. You might be breaking even, I actually think already a lot of sellers are breaking even and dont even realize it because they dont have proper accounting, they just look at the orange bars and what third party apps tell them they made.
