We have a Best Seller in the Electronics Category that has maintained that position for months. We recently added an “Anti Microbial” statement to our description, which adheres to Amazon’s TOS which states that Products with an Anti Microbial Additive which is EPA Registered does not require any further registration.
Turns out that because of Covid-19, the Amazon Bots that flag these types of things are hyper sensitive to any verbiage that mentions the phrase Anti Microbial. Our listing was flagged and when we tried to get the product reinstated, it required that we created a new SKU and Offer, which we did. Oddly now, both Seller SKU’s in our Catalog are routed to the same inventory.
2 Days ago, we lost all of our keyword ranking for high traffic search terms, including our own branded search queries. We were dead last for nearly all relevant search terms. We were able to maintain Best Seller because our Sponsored Campaigns run pretty efficiently, however no more organic rank on any relevant search terms. Does anyone happen to know if having 2 SKUs of the same ASIN could somehow reset your ranking/indexing of keywords?

I would be more likely to believe your detail page is not displaying to customers than believe the keywords are the cause.
Can you find the page in the Buyer-facing Search?
Have you get it resolved yet?
I just got same issue
I’m experiencing this same issue. I had the same issue back in January 2020 and solved it by contacting executive seller relations.
