So in the past few days, I've been getting lots of notices that Amazon has edited my posts. Most of these posts are from Months ago. It would be nice if Amazon were to somehow indicate what sort of change was made to the post and why.
I hate that there is no Category about the site or the forum since this post doesn't fit with any of the category options.
I hate that there is no Forum Tag since this post doesn't fit into any of the listed tags.

Amazon APPEARS to be 'cleaning house' on some things.
I was one of the guinea pigs at the start and was NOT told about some important things. I had changed my 'handle' when I was sent to this 'reeducation camp' and they seem to be changing my old post to the new name.
At the rate they are going and the number of posts that I had on the OLD FORUM it is going to take them a decade (or longer) to clean up THEIR mess.
It's a weekend/holiday and all the MODS are off partying 😁😁 so it may be a day or two to hear back but MAYBE (not likely) one of them will know what on earth one of the unnamed/unidentified Amazon SILOS is doing on here!

Agree ... there doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason to as what the edit could be about.
It would be nice to know if it was limited to those of us who were beta testers. If someone who came onboard during the great migration this past spring is also receiving these "Amazon has edited your post" notifications in bulk, it would be greatly appreciated if you would respond letting us know.
Another issue that has surfaced with many of us is the posting of our new forum posts on our "old" profile page. If you have a "new" profile and "old" profile (the one that is not suppose to be linked to the "new" profile), you should be aware that some of your "new" current posts are showing up on your "old" profile stat page. This exposes the connection between the "new" profile and the "old" profile. So that "fresh start" promise made when you came on board really doesn't exist. Again ... this would only effect those who elected to "start fresh" with a "new" profile.

Welcome to life on The River.
Well @Seller_9Uf78DYSZ2lcW, you beat me to it. I was spending family time.
Soooooooo adding in what I was going to post in a new thread here, so it's all in one place!
Disclaimer - Personally I am OK with what I am seeing. I only chose the "Start Fresh" option to test it out for others. At this point I'd be fine with both profiles being merged though.
HOWEVER ... it is NOT OK for Amazon to take it upon themselves to link OSFE posts made under an OSFE profile to the new "Start Fresh" NSFE profile when someone chose the "start Fresh" as I did!
Typical Amazon BS!
Clarity Around Display of your Business Name on your Profile in the New Seller Forum Experience
In this thread @Wyatt_Amazontold us ...
A. Start fresh. Create a new forums display name. Your previous posts will remain associated to your previous display name and not associated with your business name in your new forums profile, and your old display name cannot be used by any other forums member. You will start the new forums without any post history.
However, my OSFE posts are being edited by a bot AND put under my NSFE profile!
Here's a group done recently.
These are OSFE posts that NOW appear under my NSFE profile, and when I go to them show as being made under my NSFE profile ... when they weren't.
Linked text to the top post in the image
Notice it has my NSFE profile pic now and not the OSFE one.
This is a direct violation of what we were told.
I posted this next part elsewhere but am copying it here for readers.
I think:
1. Those who didn’t on board at all are safe
2. Those who on boarded and kept their profiles see nothing different
3. Those who were beta testers will might see some of the same issues I mentioned about my account a while back - NSFE posts appearing on my OSFE profile
(I’ll note, these stats are way under my previous OSFE stats but NOT being added to my NSFE stats)
4. Those, like myself, who on boarded with a new profile (a/k/a "Start Fresh" will likely see at least some of their previous profile’s posts appear on the new profile
If you are unaffected by any of this ... count your blessings.
I may have totally missed a very large boat, but the old forum posts are now appearing in the new (poorly threaded) forum format. Has that always been the case (since the fora changed)? Is that maybe the cause of these edit notices (which I'm not receiving; I did choose "start from scratch")?
