Read onlyHi everyone,
In the month of February, my account was deactivated, linking me to another user.
At that moment I answer a questionnaire, appeal, where they ask me if I use or used an external company, to which I answer no, without considering the 3pl an external company.
Then reading in this forum, I found information that indicated to me that, perhaps due to the address of the 3pl, they associated my account with another account that is not mine, that is where I realized that the 3pl is then considered an external company.
I attempted a second appeal by submitting documentation that I use a 3pl for logistics and returns services. This appeal was also rejected.
My question would be:
Is it because of using a 3pl that Amazon associated with another user? Or could there be something else?
Is it not allowed to use 3pl?
Should I cancel my membership with that 3pl and thus make a POA showing that I no longer use a 3pl?
Hi there @Seller_laNf7nHY2G6Ob,
Thank you for utilizing the Seller Forums.
I understand your account was deactivated after due to Amazon's Seller Code of Conduct and Multiple Accounts police.
Per this policy, all sellers are expected to only maintain one selling account unless there are legitimate business needs for multiple accounts. Such needs can include being recruited for an Amazon program which requires the creation of new account or having a separate brand. Even when permitted, all accounts must remain in good standing at all times. If they are not in good standing, all associated accounts will be deactivated and remain so until the root of the issue is resolved.
What information could have been shared between the 3rd party, you, and the other account? Did you ever allow this third party to log onto your Seller Central account?
You will need to work on providing evidence that your account is no longer related to the linked account if you find that this is the reason for the connection. Alternatively, you will need to provide proof that these accounts have never been related if applicable.
If you do recognize the account or know to who the account belongs, that account becoming active will assist in reactivating yours.
I also suggest taking a look at the following Seller University videos for this type of situation:
