Hello,
Is it just us or is everyone else getting bombarded with INR emails and the tracking shows that the item has been delivered to a parcel locker? Seems like none of the users know what that is or ever requested any locker delivery.

The parcel lockers are for communities that have group mailboxes. These boxes have extra slots for parcels, which the post office will leave a key for in your box if you have a package (assuming they do it correctly and actually put the key in the correct person’s mailbox of course).
We have had several issues with these boxes due to carrier error, either forgetting to leave the key in the person box, leaving the key in the wrong box, or a number of other issues. We have had to call local post offices to get this resolved in the past. Luckily we do not have a high number of INR’s so we usually do some digging if we do get one.
It is also possible your customers are trying to pull a fast one and know its an easy excuse to say they don’t know what it is. Unless they just moved into a new neighborhood, they should know what it is At least here in the PHX, AZ area all new communities built since about 1995 have these group mailboxes, if you live in a community with them you know what it is.
If you used Amazon Buy Shipping hopefully they will cover it according to policy if it comes to an A-Z INR claim.
yes we hate parcel lockers!! 70% of the inr claims are deliveries to a parcel locker. Not once has one ever been retrieved and returned back to us.
Agree, Parcel Lockers are the worst.
Tracking always says Delivered To Parcel locker for those that contact us about an INR
Our PO has parcel lockers which are used for packages destined for PO boxholders.
If the package is not picked up by the next day, the key is removed from the PO box, the packae from the lockers, and the boxholder needs to ask at the counter.
Too complex for some. The last scan still shows delivered to parcel locker.
Buyers just get a message that the package has been delivered (Amazon app or email etc). They open their front door and expect it there. If we see that in tracking we do the same, and send them a message letting them know where to look.
@a_finishing_touch kinda threw everyone off topic with the AZ Parcel Locker. Only FBA uses it and the customer has to request it.
