Did they file an A-Z claim? And no, you cannot block a customer, but I believe there is a way to report them.

What was the sequence of events?
They shipped it back, you received it, then what? Did you refuse to refund, or charge a restocking fee, or ? When did the a to z come into the story?

They do this often. I got a bag of sand and Amazon won't reimburse me for the refund. So sad what goes on here sometimes. Really disturbing.

This happened to us recently too. I would suggest filing a SAFE-T claim and be very detailed that the product returned is different from the product sold.

You must be new here. Your pain in just beginning. This platform is a total sh*t show and waste of time. Amzn doesn't care if you get screwed over, they really don't. Most of the time amzn does the screwing so get used to it. Every week will be a new emergency and new fire drill. Spend some time reading these forums and that should be enough to scare you straight. Get off this platform as fast as you can before you really get burned.

Our SOP for all returns:
1) open package from opposite side of label - to keep it intact
2) inspect product - if 100% OK - look for return document inside (if not there - cut out shipping label) Write on return document the product returned
3) if carton damaged or product damaged or not our product - a) Carton damage, take images BEFORE Opening package include shipping label if no damage product will restock after confirming what was shipped (if product damage after opening read on to step b-) . b) carton ok but product issues. Image shipping label and product inside the package image(s) then images of the damages. We have two cards we place in the images for damages - This is what was shipped and the other says This is what was returned - remove shipping return doc and note the product and damages c) If they sent the box o'rocks back use same as B procedure and the second card states NOT OUR PRODUCT.
4) Go to your Returns Tab and type in the return ID or tracking number to find the order and compare. a) No damage? just leave it and AMZ will refund if they have not already from First Scan b) IF you are lucky enough that AMZ has NOT refunded on first scan this is your best chance to get more $ back. Click on the right side to Refund. Click on Restocking Fee and upload your reason and images and choose a higher or complete claw back then a SafeT-Claim, after making your claim and loading images - save and look to see if they will allow Return Shipping fee too and save== If they have already refunded on First Scan go to SafeT- claim to submit there but do NOT expect a lot of your money back for a damaged item that cannot be sold as new to another buyer. c) for the box o'rocks, check the box for Materially Different when entering data in the Restocking Fee page- Use the images with your cards and we also take a screen shot of the order page to upload as proof. If they try to low ball the refund - upload the images again and state the obvious.
Hope this helps on the next one and the many more to come :-(

This perfectly sums up Amazon the past few years.

You cannot file a SAFE-T claim after an A-to-z Guarantee claim has been granted.

Take photos of the returned package, item, close up detail, serial number etc. Submit your appeal with photo evidence to the a-to-z claim.
