I recently tried to remove the variation relationship between two ASINs, as I want to restructure them and instead set up a color variation.

I opened a case with Amazon (Case ID: 17490746611) and spoke with support, but they informed me that the variation couldn’t be removed because Amazon Retail owns the contribution for these ASINs. Therefore, any changes to the variation structure or product attributes are restricted.

Have you been able to get a variation removed when Amazon Retail owns the contribution?

Any insight or shared experience would be greatly appreciated!
