I'm trying to add new product with GTIN exemption (approved), but the error 8541 keeps appearing. What's worse, it gives a message that it conflicts it with a non-existing ASIN (the product that we don't sell anymore and the listing is deleted long time ago).
Of course, support are totally uncapable of fixing the issue, as they keep replying "unfortunately we cannot reinstate the ASIN...", even if I keep repeating that I am not trying to reinstate any ASIN! I'm trying to add a new product that is different from the ASIN that supposedly conflicts with, they are different brand and different categories.
The case numbers are 16627636881 and 16663570861, but they are pointless. Btw, they kicked me out of chat since they didn't have answer to my question of what is causing this mess...
Any help how to overcome this nonsense?

Why do you want to create a BRANDED listing with a GTIN exemption? That makes it an easy victim of hijackers. Doesn't have this product a barcode on the packaging? Is this your brand? If not, do you have a "Letter of Authorization" from the brand owner? Do you try to create a "Generic" listing?
