Read onlyIt seems all of a sudden any safe-t claim we submit for a refund of return shipping label cost is denied. We have 3 in a row now repeatedly denied saying : Why is this happening? As the return label cost was already deducted from the refund, you are not eligible for reimbursement. There is no reimbursement due on this order. I send a screen shot of the payment details showing we (not the customer) was charged for the return label, but that helps not at all. These are also all for (no longer needed ) or (bought by mistake) returns. We ship ourselves and use Amazon shipping. These are all refund at first scan returns. The real kicker is these are for inexpensive items and the stilly $15-$21 return label costs are higher than the cost of the items. We do not offer free shipping or free returns, so why is this permitted to continue? If a mod can explain what the problem is I'd really appreciate it. You may not offer free return shipping but Amazon does and you cannot over ride them.
They have been refunding us just fine.
Usually they will refund to the customer. everything but the return shipping depending on what the reason is for the return.
If there is nothing wrong with the product we file a saf t claim under returned under wrong reason.
Then we ask for the outbound and return shipping.
If they were charged for the return shipping, we ask for the outbound shipping.
We send photos of the return showing we sent the right thing.
As long as it was shipped and received according to the metrics given, we win every single time. Sometimes they will pay more than we asked for.
Since amazon violates its own policies just like your best selling items usually end up PRICEFIXED with buy box removal! Amazon rigs this site harming sellers for profit!
Exact same situation here. I think the question you ask here is identical to the question I asked SAFE-T claims. WE have been denied for the last three claims on return postage and none of them were our fault. We should not have been held to account. We have always won this until lately so the person below you who responded that everything works beautifully for them maybe needs to file a few more and they would understand what you are talking about. I know exactly what you are talking about because your inquiry could have taken the words right out of my mouth, I even asked the SAFE_T team if they had new employees because what they are doing is wrong and so if a mod reads this I would also like you to look at a few of my claims and those would be for orders number 114-1667890-5877010, 114-5630306-1195426, 113-2944659-6834624. In each case the customer used an innacurate return reason so they didn't have to pay the return shipping and like you our items were between 10 and 15 and after the return shipping cost to us we lost money big time for doing nothing wrong. It is infuriating!
RFS is a total SCAM to cost the seller the return shipping. They make you jump through hoops when you try to file a SAFE-T Claim. only to have it DENIED!!!!
