Read onlyBecause of the tariff increase, all my costs have increased, so I had to raise my selling price, but when I raised my selling price, I lost my buy now button. Amazon gave me the reason that my price was too high. I didn’t want to raise the price, but my cost increase forced me to raise the price. I can’t sell at a loss, right? I have been selling products on Amazon for ten years and rarely violated the rules. This is too unfriendly to US sellers.
Unfortunately, that's the case for a lot of sellers and "our leaders" think playing chess with people's livelihoods is fun.
Maybe you should have waited a week or two. Did you raise the prices because you are ordering new inventory? If not, and you already have inventory sitting in your warehouse or with Amazon, why did you raise prices?
No Buy Box No Sale! This platform is rigged unfair business practices and best to sell items without buy box somewhere else.
Probably you need to raise the prices slowly as others also raise their prices. The buyers do not care what you paid. They only care where they can get the best deal.
i'm having this same issue. Is amazon going to fix this?
I am having the same problem only the publishers are raising the prices of the music and Amazons fees, I have to raise prices. When I do do that Amazon delist the product for price. What real drives me crazy is some of the books, I am the only one selling that book
The buy button is a feature for impulse buying and quicker to cart conversion and Amazon has that for items they think consumers are more likely to purchase. As the market shifts to the higher pricing due to demand, the buy button should come back. But if your product is an item that people can live without and buying doesn't come back, then the featured buy will not return.
The other thing is that if people want your item, regardless of whether or not that button is there, they'll click "other offers/sellers" and select the one they think best fits their needs from price to turn around time to seller profile.
