Manage Your Compliance

I Am an Amazon Seller and I Currently Sell Organic Powder on the Platform. Recently, I Encountered a Request Under the "Manage Your Compliance" Section, Requiring Specific Lab Testing for My Product to Meet Amazon’s Regulatory Requirements.

Thank you for posting in our Forums about the compliance requirements. I understand the process can be complex and a bit confusing for you, I would like to offer some general guidance.

Compliance for Organic Products is pretty specific: Organic Products in part this states:

"To be sold, labeled, or represented as “organic” in the United States, agricultural products --- whether raw or processed --- must be certified to either the USDA organic regulations or to an international standard that the USDA has named as equivalent. In either case, the products must:

  • Be produced according to the USDA organic requirements
  • Comply with organic labeling requirements; an
  • Identify the name of the product’s certifier."

Usually you receive a performance notification with the the ASIN information. On the Account Health Page in the Manage your compliance area, bottom right corner, you should have the ability to upload the required documents. If, for any reason you are not able to provide documents in that area, please create a case and attach the documents. Then please reach back out with that information. With assistance from our teams, we are able to transfer your documents to the proper specialists for review.

I hope this information helps but, if more information is required, please reach back out, including a related case ID.

I look forward to your response. Thank you for reaching out on the Forums.
