Dear Amazon Forum Community,
I am reaching out here seeking assistance regarding the deactivation of my account due to DAC7 compliance. My account, which used to generate daily revenues of several thousand dollars, was deactivated without any prior warning. Although I provided the necessary information in December, I was given a 48-hour deadline to provide it again. However, it has been over a week since I resubmitted the information, and I haven't been able to sell anything since then. Furthermore, I am now incurring storage fees without being able to make any sales.
I reached out to the management email address, where they promised a response within two business days, but it has been four days since then, and I have received no reply. How can Amazon justify immediate deactivation without proper communication? How do the owners and shareholders feel about the slow response and lack of communication, which not only affects my ability to sell but also deprives Amazon of commission on my sales and incurs additional storage costs?
Currently, I am in discussions with a legal team to resolve this matter, and I am considering seeking compensation for the unacceptable treatment. As sellers, we are expected to meet all deadlines, yet Amazon seems exempt from any accountability.
I would greatly appreciate any advice or assistance in resolving this issue as my business is in jeopardy if I cannot resume selling soon.
Thank you for your attention and support.
