How is it Possible to Leave a Review for Something Never Sold? Suspicious 1-Star Review from Mexico Marketplace – Could Competitors Be Behind This? - REMOVE

How is it possible to leave a review for something you've never sold? Please, can someone help resolve this issue? I suspect my competitors are trying to negatively impact my rating by adding fake reviews to my account. I received a 1-star review from an additional market (customer service mentioned it’s from the Mexico marketplace), which is a market where I’ve never sold any items.

Furthermore, there’s no comment or product reference in the review, so it’s unclear what the reviewer is actually referring to.

Please investigate this case thoroughly and clarify how it’s possible for a review to be left for a product that was never sold. It raises serious concerns about whether Amazon’s security system is functioning properly, allowing such issues to occur.

Hello @Seller_mSJR0ac8UpnHR

Let me clarify this for you: When you sign up for Amazon Seller Central for the US Marketplace, you get access to the North American region, which includes countries like America, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.

If you are selling via FBA you can receive orders from Mexico, Canada, and Brazil, in the case of FBM you can deactivate these marketplaces but for FBA there isn't any setting to restrict buyers to purchase from you.

Moreover, if you still believe someone willingly does this to you, you can report them by following these steps.

1: Go to the "Account Health" Page

2: Click on "Report Abuse" which can be found on the top left.

3: Select the last option "Another seller account is attempting to harm my business"

4: Fill out the form and submit it.

Enjoy Happy Selling!
