Support rejecting proof of ownership for lost FBA shipment

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Recently we had an inbound FBA shipment sent (via UPS partner account) and received by a New Jersey fulfillment go missing. This is my 14th year selling on Amazon so although not common this does occur from time to time. The resolution is usually relatively simple.

I opened a case with support and submitted proof of ownership documents for the missing inventory as well for inventory shipped and received by FBA within an 18 day period. To my surprise, support rejected my claim. I've used the similar proof of ownership documents before that were accepted. Curiously, support will not provide specifics as to why the documents are not sufficient. They only say the "documentation provided doesn't meet one or more of the requirements for acceptance".

Amazon confirmed receipt of my inventory that was subsequently lost. The requested ownership documentation has been provided and still I am getting cryptic responses that leave me holding the bag. Am I missing something?

Thanks for taking the time to raise this, and apologies for any frustration it has caused. Would you be able to provide me with the case ID where you provided the Proof of Ownership? I would like to review the documents and determine how best I can assist.
