I'm new to amazon and I listed a backpack and said "great for school" in the title but the category was under "adult". I've now removed the word "school" everywhere, but i'm still getting a children's compliance issue and they want me to get testing done. Is there anything i can do to fix this?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Here's the error message they sent me:

Hello @Sunshine_Steals_Stor,
Thank you for posting your product compliance concerns.
New backpack listing - Action Required: Compliance requirements for your product listings (need help with appeal)
As you’ve mentioned, you created a new backpack listing and were required to provide proper testing to ensure your product complies with our requirements.
I would like to inform you that your product has been identified as backpack. A backpack is a bag made of plastic, cloth, nylon, or other material and includes a snap, zipper, clasp, or drawstring closure, and is used to store school books and supplies. Backpacks often have two straps worn around the shoulders or one strap across the chest to hold the pack on one’s back.
If your product meets this description, it was associated to our children’s school supplies policy.
We mention in this policy page, our requirements for these types of products include safety testing documentation. Along with the information you’ve provided, the help page mentions the need to provide a children’s product certificate (CPC).
You can typically get this information from your supplier or manufacture, depending on how and where you sourced your products. If they do not have the documentation, or do not provide it, you can have them independently tested.
If you need support finding a testing facility, you can use our service provider network, and search your required testing facilities. We also have a help page on this service, offering a bit more information on the amazon service provider network overview.

If you believe this was not properly identified and does not fit these requirements, you will need to show supporting evidence that this product does not meet these requirements. You mentioned this was an adult product. Do you have any supporting evidence showing that this product is designed and indented for adult only use?
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.

I have the same issue. I contacted my supplier and they have no documentation for product safety even though all my backpacks are categorized as Unisex Adult. The backpacks are one of my best sellers. I'm still fighting with Amazon to get them relisted.
Hello @Sunshine_Steals_Stor,
Thank you for following up on your concerns.
I saw posts from other sellers about "adult back packs" and they were able to get an appeal approved by adding a bullet in their description that says - "this product is not for children". Will that be a work around? Thank you!

Unfortunately, there is no workaround. If you are in a situation where your product is intended for adults, you will be required to not only update the listing detail page to show compliance and intended use, but also any supporting evidence to also showcase this.
Did you get this resolved? I'm still dealing with this and super frustrated. Thank you!
Did you appeal the situation, and as originally requested, did you include supporting evidence that your backpack is only intended for adults?
