Hello Dear Amazon Brand Registry Support,
Our Brand Name is missing from all product titles, whereas some other sellers in our categories have brand names displayed in the title.
Seller Support says this is a new policy for listing titles to improve the customer experience. But interestingly, my competitors product titles all have their brand names. This is not a fair/consistent policy.
We are brand registered and customers actually search for our brand name when they buy our products, so it's only hurting the customer. I would like to have our brand name displayed in the title, too.
Looking through other forums, it seems like some sellers can request an exemption from this policy, but seller support is not being helpful. Can a mod please assist in requesting this exemption? Thank you!

Hello @Seller_o7eHDxO8pIxqQ,
My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I can assist. Thanks for including the case ID. Since the team is still investigating this I cannot comment on the ongoing investigation, but they had responded about 15 hours ago that they are working on it.
For additional context on brand name results in search, I recommend reviewing the Amazon Search help page. The contents of that help page describe instances of when and why brand names are removed from search and actions you can take to improve the likelihood of their brand name being displayed.
Hope this helps and please let m know if you have any other questions.
Best, Dougal
I've made this change for brands several times --- you just need to be persistent. I've found I'm a bit more successful when putting in language such as "I demand to be removed from the "hide-the-brand-name-in-the-title" experiment for brand name "xyz". If they give you the runaround more than 3 times, just reply with "ESCALATE this case to LEADERSHIP!"... then keep replying with that if they don't comply and they'll eventually get you there where leadership is more likely to help with this request.
We have the same exact issue! We have figured some workaround by playing with what goes in the first spot of the title.
example instead of Brand name-product-name-etc
try descriptive word-brand name-product title-etc
this seems to trick it as it is trying to remove the first word as it expects it to be the brand name
Amazon has been around since the late 90's..... My goodness, how did any company survive before that without Amazon constantly stepping in and telling us how to run our business and manage our own brands? We've been in business since the 1950's. Thank you Amazon for constantly reminding us of how incompentent we are to manage our own successful bussiness and brands.
I have exactly same issue but I didn't open any case. My all competitors have their brand name same as yours. Actualy I don't know how this situation effect my sales! Positive or negative!
