Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out to this community because I’m feeling incredibly frustrated and helpless with a situation I’m facing as a seller. My product recently received a 1-star review, and I have no idea why. After checking the buyer’s profile, I noticed they’ve been leaving 1-star reviews for multiple products over several days. This pattern makes me question the legitimacy of their feedback.
I’ve tried submitting multiple cases to Amazon, asking them to investigate and remove this review, but it feels like I’m hitting a wall. I either get no response or generic, unhelpful replies that don’t address the issue at all. It’s disheartening to feel like my concerns are being ignored. I don’t even know which Amazon team to contact anymore—it seems like most of the cases I submit are just closed without any meaningful resolution.
Is anyone else experiencing this? It almost feels like Amazon’s internal processes prioritize closing cases quickly over actually solving problems. Maybe it’s about meeting KPIs for case closure? I’m not sure, but it’s making me feel completely powerless as a seller.
I’d really appreciate any advice or insights from the community. How do you handle unjustified negative reviews? Is there a specific team or process that actually works?
Thanks in advance for your support.
Where is the entry point for complaints in this case? I haven't been able to find the right place to appeal. review is not equal to feedback. Unable to complain in the feedback area.
I'm afraid that you are not the only one with unfair reviews. I also think that you have a point about cases closed and NOT cases solved. What is easier than just bouncing the problem right back to you with a generic email and marking the case as closed and onto the next one since they have a quota every day to close? You can go to buyer feedback (under brand) in sellercentral and see if you can get ahold of this specific complainer. There is a place where you can ask for clarification of the problem or answer the concern.
#1. report them if you can gather evidence they are competitor.
#2. If not, if you think you can get more organic 5 star reviews to drown out the 1 star review, try that.
#3. And/Or have some 'help' from people who leave 5 star reviews.
#4. If above don't work, restart the listing brand new.
Hey @Seller_EzlOKGGfA7wci,
I am sorry to hear this. Please, when you have a moment. Share any Case IDs or Order ID that is associated with this Review. I would like to review the details and determine what options you might have to proceed.
Thanks,
Joey
the entire review system is ridiculous, we got a chunk of 1 star reviews ourselves lately for the dumbest things. You cant take stupid out of these customers, i swear. Get used to it, or just dont even worry about it, it will never change.
Go to 'Performance' on the upper right of your dashboard. Select Feedback Manager. Follow the prompts. Seller help will remove any unjustified low reviews.
Good Luck, they will do absolutely nothing!
