What does quantity mean on the add a new product page?

What does quantity mean in this page? For example, Let’s say I wrote 150 here. if I have 150 products in my stock after opening the list, can I add 200 products later? Is this number the max limit of my amazon fba storage?

If you do not use FBA and are shipping the items to customers yourself this is the quantity you have in stock and for sale on the day you create the listing. You can increase this amount in your Inventory page at any time.

If you are selling FBA this simply has to be a non-zero number. If you sell FBA the quantity for sale will be determined by amazon as the products arrive at the Amazon warehouse. It has nothing to do with any inventory limits.

That is your current Inventory on hand and ready to ship, that number decreases, as product sells and you will increase the number as your stock is replenished. It has nothing to do with FBA (at the moment).

Yes, that’s the quantity and yes, it can be updated as time passes by.
You are not ready to be making listings.

When creating a new listing, always leave quantity empty, or 0. Get the listing created, then go to inventory page to update quantity, whether FBA or FBM.

And as others suggested, you probably need to put your account on vacation and take some time to learn the platform.

I recommend reading thru the following post by @papyrophilia and all of the links it leads you to. Take notes, then come back with questions. This is probably the best one stop shop for any questions a new(or veteran) seller may have
