It means that the product is sold by Amazon itself (not by a third-party seller).

It’s a 3rd party company trying to seem like “Amazon” but other than selling on their site, has no affiliation with Amazon. I have customers coming into my store to price match them all the time and I have to give them the depressing news that we don’t price match anybody but Amazon, regardless of how similar their names are.

Some of the products that I manufacturer and sell only on my website are showing up on Amazon as ‘sold by amazon’ for $5 less than I sell them for. How is this happening? Is this one of my wholesale customers undercutting me? I can’t find out who when it says ‘Sold and Fulfilled by Amazon.’
