Inventory discrepency

I sent in one box of 15 books. 11 SKU'S -15 Books. Amazon located 30 books and closed this shipment with these discrepancies. According to this my inventory is double what I sent in. How do I correct this. Customer support has been no help. All I want is the 15 items that I sent to be available for sale. Amazon also makes items available for sale prior to the shipment being closed. Therefore I have pending sales on inventory that I don't have. The 30 books.

I've had this happen more than once, where Amazon received my books twice, and like you, have had times where phantom copies sold.

Eventually, Amazon figured it out; usually the orders disappeared and inventory eventually went back to the correct numbers. Once I got reimbursed for all of the "lost" books (not that it was a windfall, but since they never existed anyway, I didn't complain).

Really nothing you can do about it. Amazon will eventually figure out that either they counted wrong, or that they lost it.
