Setting Minimum Order Quantity

I’ve checked Amazon Help and Forum, and it seems that the consensus here is that it’s impossible to set a Minimum Order Quantity for an ASIN (unless you do a B2B). However…
I’ve been seeing this listing of my competitor for a month or so… that has minimum order qty set up.

This is a merchant fulfilled offer, not an FBA. Regular Amazon page, not a Business Offer. I’ve checked all options in Edit -> Offer - nothing about minimums (only max). Soo, then I opened a case with Amazon hoping that maybe they will clarify how does it happen that my competitors can set this up and I don’t. And well you know how that works. We are now on round 7 of copy-pasted replies that are not even remotely close to my question (but I’ve got tons of info about automated pricing and maximum order qty :woman_facepalming:t3:).

The only thing I found on the web is the article (no links allowed) dated Aug 31, 2021 that states that MOQs are now available on Amazon for FBA and MFN sellers. I don’t know this resource at all, so not sure I can trust it.
here’s a screenshot:

The catch is - this is a message from Amazon Europe in this article, not the US

But the seller from my original screenshot is in US. not EU.

So I decided to check with you guys. Does anyone have an idea how that could be done? So far it looks like some kind of a bug - no one knows how to do this, but some of lucky ones have this option…

As of June, it is invitation-only, outside of business orders.

ETA: Still accurate here in December…

This is very searchable, both on the Forum and in Seller Central.

I’ll agree with you, I see your example. I have seen MOQ on a few items in the past, but it’s very very rare. I think I’ve seen it twice and I think that was back in the FBA small and light days. So to answer your Q, I don’t know! But that “source”, bad mojo!
