Request for Review Removal Due to Policy Violations Involving Cross-Platform Misleading Content

After carefully reviewing the content, I believe this review violates several aspects of Amazon’s review policies. Below is a detailed breakdown of the key violations, along with an analysis of the review and additional context that suggests potential cross-platform interference.

Review Details:

Detailed Analysis of Policy Violations:

1.Defamatory and Inflammatory Language:

The use of terms like “cheap toy” and “insanely defective” is highly damaging to the product's reputation and misleads potential buyers. This violates Amazon's requirement for respectful language and factual reviews.

2.Lack of Specific Information:

The review does not offer detailed information about the product’s functionality or specific tests conducted. There is no mention of settings tested or the specific issue faced, leaving other customers with no actionable information. This violates Amazon's guideline to provide useful and detailed feedback.

3.Cross-Platform Comparison:

The reviewer mentions Temu, a different platform where they claim to have purchased the product. This is irrelevant to Amazon as the product is being reviewed on Amazon. Cross-platform comparisons or references to purchases on other platforms are misleading and violate the platform-specific nature of Amazon reviews.

4.Unsubstantiated Claims:

The claim that the product “mentally strains animals” and that the dog’s behavior was altered due to the collar is unsupported by any concrete evidence. There is no mention of proper usage or explanation of the product’s settings, which violates Amazon’s policy for honest and fact-based reviews.

5.Malicious Intent:

The extreme nature of the review, coupled with a lack of specific product feedback and an unrelated platform comparison, raises concerns that the review may be an attempt to harm the product’s reputation. This could be an example of competitor interference or fake review manipulation, which violates Amazon's policies regarding review manipulation.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will carefully review the information provided and take the appropriate action to maintain the integrity of product reviews on Amazon.

I've got the same problem going on with my business. Reviews that make no sense and should be taken down, but amazon doesn't do a thing to help.

Ssure - you have the option to submit a case as a request to remove the review. This is a very strong and unfortunate review, however, it is still the buyer's opinion so the likelihood of it being taken down is not high.
