Subject: Urgent: Repeated Issues with Product Packaging and Shipping by Amazon Staff
I am writing to express my continued frustration and disappointment regarding the repeated issues I have encountered with the packaging and shipping of my products by Amazon staff. Despite submitting numerous complaints, the problems persist, leading to significant losses for my business.
I have received another customer complaint regarding the "Basket" product. The customer, Tracy , reported that the package was crushed and the product was damaged, with missing spare parts. This issue is documented in my Seller Central support.
I want to emphasize that my inventory is sent to Amazon warehouses in perfect condition, after thorough inspection and proper packaging. However, it seems that the staff responsible for picking, packing, and shipping are not adequately trained, resulting in these recurring issues.
Despite submitting multiple complaints about this problem, no effective action has been taken to resolve it. I am deeply disheartened by the lack of support and responsiveness from the Seller Central support team.

The seller is responsible for packaging the product approprietly to go through Amazon fulfillment centers. In this case you stated you sent it in "proper packaging" although the item arrives consistantly to customers damaged.
This indicates that you did not supply the "proper packaging"
You need to adjust your packaging to be able to go through Amazons FCs

You can complain and expect Amazon to change, or you can change?

expect every item to be shipped in a bag, if they bother to ship it in anything at all. People have reported getting even things like drink glasses shipped in a bag. you have to pre-box your items as though you were going to slap a label right on it.

Samsonite had a TV ad 50 years ago showing a gorilla throwing their suitcase around in his cage. That's the type of handling one should picture occurring in the fulfillment centers, as well as at every hub along the path of transit to the customer. ;-)

That is one of the main reasons I ship FBM.

Hi @Seller_JeHkBDYxTYfU5,
Dominic from Amazon here, happy to try to help with this. This help page, Packaging and prep requirements, should have a lot of useful information.
A general rule is always packaging your items to ensure they can go through a normal logistic process without damage. Do you have a case ID you can share with me that I can review?
Best,
Dominic

What you should be taking away is that FBA wont work.

You are trying to throw the responsibility onto Amazon to pack your product so it arrives undamaged.
This is your responsibility.

Send your products to Amazon FC like they are ready to ship. It seems as if you are expecting Amazon to do something instead of doing it yourself, even after countless attempts that are not working. If i kept sending them a glass bottle in a bag, and it kept breaking, I wouldnt keep doing the same thing. I would adjust how I send it to them, example; bubble wrap it and put it in a box so it wont break. It seems like this one is on you and your business.
