My amazon Seller Account Has Been Deactiavated Due to Counterfiet Product

Hi,

Dear Amazon Seller Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well,

I am reaching out regarding the recent deactivation of my account due to allegations of selling counterfeit products. I submitted an invoice to address this issue; however, it was unfortunately rejected.

Could you please provide guidance on why the invoice was not accepted and advise on the additional information or documentation required to resolve this matter? I am committed to resolving this issue promptly and would appreciate your assistance in reinstating my account.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This forum is other sellers; not Amazon. And Amazon will never give specific details.

But a few questions might help figure things out:

What were you selling?

Where were you sourcing your inventory?

Do you have WRITTEN permission FROM THE BRAND to sell their items ON AMAZON?

Well, you admit that you were selling counterfeit.

You're done.

There is no road to recovery. Amazon wants people who follow the rules BEFORE they get caught.

Hopefully in your future ventures (which won't be here), you'll pay a bit more attention up front.

To better understand why Amazon is not accepting your documents, please answer the following questions:

  1. Are you sourcing from a verifiable supplier?
  2. Do the invoices reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days?
  3. Do the invoices demonstrate your product’s full supply chain?
  4. Do the invoices include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer?

Please visit the page Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements for more information.

Thank you for contacting us! The forums community and I are committed to assisting you. Feel free to share how we can support you moving forward.

I wish you all the best,

Nikki

Since you mentioned that you are having issues with counterfeit product, I would like to request that you verify if the invoices that you’ve sent comply with the requirements listed on the requirements for sourcing documentation request:

1. Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured.

These documents:

  • Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days
  • Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain
  • Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. Amazon may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents

2. Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.

Also, make sure you are sourcing from a verifiable supplier.

A supplier may be considered unverifiable if there are concerns about the legitimacy, reliability, or transparency of their operations. Some key reasons a supplier could be viewed as unverifiable include:

  1. The supplier may not have a clear, publicly available business registration, physical address, contact information, or other basic details that can be easily confirmed.
  2. The true owners, executives, or decision-makers behind the supplier may be unclear or difficult to identify, raising questions about their credibility.
  3. The supplier's financial statements, production data, shipping documents, or other records may appear inconsistent, incomplete, or questionable when reviewed.
  4. The supplier may have a history of customer complaints, regulatory violations, or other red flags that raise doubts about their reliability and trustworthiness.
  5. It may be difficult to independently confirm the supplier's claimed manufacturing capabilities, quality control processes, or capacity to fulfill orders as represented.
  6. The supplier's own sourcing of raw materials, components, or other inputs may be opaque, making it hard to verify the origin and legitimacy of their supply chain.

One last thing, are you selling branded products as generic?

Please visit the pages Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements, Amazon Anti-Counterfeiting Policy, Appeal an account deactivation or listing removal and Program Policies for more information.

Wish you all the best,

Nikki
