Is OTDR protected if you ship late but use faster service

We have an order that we are shipping. It's a day late for shipping and when our normal service, USPS GA, is selected, it shows "Late Deliver Risk."

But, if we switch to Priority Mail it shows the OTDR Protected badge. Does anyone know if this really protects our OTDR even though it will show as a late shipment?

Thanks

No. That theoretical protection provided by using Amazon buy-shipping has several provisos. Having tracking show that the item was handed to the carrier on time is just one of them.

If it is delivered on time then it will not also affect your late delivery rate. But there will be a metric hit for late shipping.
